More about this item

Lovely vintage gravy boat with attached saucer in an apple with leaves design, made in the USA dated 1960s.

This is the Franciscan "Apple" pattern gravy / sauce pourer, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and seems to have little wear.

Size: 7 inches long, 3 inches deep, 3.5 inches wide

It is a Discontinued pattern which was designed by Gladding-McBean Co, with a hand-painted embossed relief of red apples and green leaves on twisted branches against the cream-colored earthenware.  The handle of the pitcher is an apple tree branch.

Marked on the bottom with "Franciscan, Made in California" with the date stamp '60 (or '61? - it's a little blurry)
