More about this item

Lovely vintage creamer in an apple with leaves design, made in the USA dated 1952.

This is the Franciscan "Apple" pattern 3-inch creamer, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and seems to have little wear.

It is a Discontinued pattern which was designed by Gladding-McBean Co, with a hand-painted embossed relief of red apples and green leaves on twisted branches against the cream-colored earthenware.  The handle of the creamer is an apple tree branch.

Marked on the bottom with "Franciscan, Made in California" with the date stamp '52
