Hull Pottery urn planter / cache pot, in the green & white Tokay Tuscan design. Lovely heavy vintage pottery made in the USA in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
Excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.
Size: about 6 inches across at the top, and 5.5 inches tall.
This piece is white/cream, with green handles and a design of green grapes and leaves. Most of these listed have white handles. The green handles seem to be more rare.
No drainage hole, so this works best with a plant that is in an inner nursery pot to allow for water runoff. Or just use as a decorative piece in the kitchen, living area, bathroom (to hold hand towels, or toiletries), etc.
Marked on the base with imprints in the ceramic, "Torkay" and "USA" with another mark that I believe is a number but hard to read.
