This adorable piece of hand crafted studio pottery by Tunnel Mountain Pottery is a lovely example of NC pottery. Tunnel Mountain is located in the blue ridge mountains of Western North Carolina, USA.
I believe it is intended to be an egg separator. It could also be used as a cute planter, airplant holder or tealight luminary / candle holder.
Size: about 3 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide
Handmade, with a blue glaze covering parts of the piece and other parts unglazed.
Condition: the piece is overall in excellent shape, except for a barely-visible hairline crack, about a half inch in length on the top back of the piece. It is barely noticeable, and I don't think will affect the integrity of the piece at all. It will be very carefully packaged for shipping.
