Air Plant in Urchin Shell, Live Tillandsia Ionantha airplant in seashell holder

This is a live air plant in a natural Urchin sea shell.  The full arrangement is about 3 inches wide.  The urchin shell is a very pale pink to white (message me if you prefer white or pink) and each shell is about 1.5 to 2 inches wide.

This air plant's scientific name is Tillandsia Ionantha.  It makes a lovely living plant gift for Mothers Day, housewarming gift, birthday gift and more.

Air plants are found in nature growing on trees.  They do not need soil, getting all the nutrients and water they need from the air around them. If kept inside, your air plant will need occasional misting with water (or put it out in the rain for a little while if the weather is mild).  Just make sure it is not sitting in damp or wet.

I do not glue down my airplants like some vendors do. The plant will naturally perch inside the shell, or you could add moss or sand if you want (add a message if you would like me to include moss). That way, it is easy to remove the plant for watering if desired.
