More about this item
This is a vintage trinket box / lidded dresser dish. It is marked Handmade in Japan by Action-Lobeco, probably from the 1960s. Very retro checkered sunflower design, and the dish is white with green trim.
The green trim is quite worn, but is a pretty irridescent dark green color. The green is on the top handle, around the lid edge, and on the 3 feet.
Use as a trinket box, dresser dish, jewelry holder, candy jar. Could also be used as a sugar bowl.
Size: 4” wide x 3.5" tall.
Good vintage condition, considering its age. It does have quite a bit of paint wear on the green trim (see photos), but no chips, cracks or crazing.
