This pretty Vintage Swan Planter / Trinket Dish was made In Czechoslovakia / Slovakia, from the 1930s. It is marked "Made in Slovakia, Czech" on the bottom.
Lovely piece of old Slovakian ,Czechoslovakian Porcelain. Collector Item from the 1930s.
In Very Good Vintage Condition. The swan has no damage or cracks. There is a small chip on the tail which is glazed over, so probably original to the manufacture of the piece when it was handmade in the 1930s. Due to age, it does have a few marks and paint wear as is to be expected for a piece that is almost one hundred years old. See photos.
Size: about 3.5 inches tall, 5 inches long, and 2.75 inches wide.
This swan could be used as a trinket dish, or planter for an airplant, faux succulent, or it could hold a very small succulent pot (the opening at the top is only about 1.6 inches at the narrowest point). Could also be used to hold sugar packets, match boxes, etc.
