More about this item

This is a gorgeous, delicate asian ceramic bowl, in a beautiful sea green color with floral design, signed on the base.  It is almost 6 inches in diameter.  There is also a very faint floral design on the outside of the bowl.

Based on research, I believe this is probably a Korean celadon tea bowl, and the pattern is done with the traditional inlaid approach.  The base does not look antique, although the bowl clearly has some age to it.  So it is most likely from the second half of the 20th century.  I have no background or provenance on this piece (it was from a local estate).

In excellent vintage condition.  There are no chips.  The glaze has a fine network of cracks throughout (part of the design, I believe) but I don't see any cracks that extend through the bowl itself.  See photos for condition.
