More about this item
This is a custom Air Plant display in a beautiful vintage Japanese Vase.
The vase is ceramic with a glossy black finish, gold trim, and a decoration of iris flowers and a dragonfly in gold, silver and bronze. It is 6 inches tall and about 3 inches at the widest point. It is made in the traditional Japanese Chokin art design, which has been made in Japan since the 12th century, originally used to decorate the armament of samurai warriors. This vase probably dates from the 1970's or 1980's. It is pre-owned, in Like New condition, with no chips, cracks or blemishes.
Air plants are easy to take care of, needing no soil and just the occasional spritzing with water, or weekly soak. Their scientific name is Tillandsia and they are related to Bromeliads and Pineapples! Care instructions are included.
I am happy to include gift wrapping and/or a gift message if requested.
I can also do a custom multi-Airplant arrangement in this vase if you would like. Please submit a custom request for pricing.
